Cuevas is one of 15 student-athletes up for the award honoring the most outstanding college football player of Hispanic ancestry
LAS VEGAS – Alabama football's Josh Cuevas was named to the inaugural Hispanic College Football Player of the Year Award Watch List, as announced by the Hispanic Football Hall of Fame on Wednesday.
Cuevas is among 15 candidates from around the country named to the award's first-ever watch list. The Hispanic College Football Player of the Year Award was created this season to recognize the most outstanding college football player of Hispanic ancestry. The Hispanic Football Hall of Fame was founded in 2025 to celebrate and honor the achievements of Hispanic players, coaches, and contributors in the sport of football.
