Alabama is represented by 38 former players across the NFL Playoffs
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The National Football League begins its postseason on Saturday when the league playoffs begin with Wild Card Weekend. Below is a look at where the Crimson Tide will be represented on the road to Super Bowl LIX.
The NFL Playoffs include 38 former Alabama players (active, reserve, practice squad) across 12 of the 14 teams. The Eagles and Texans feature the most former UA players with six apiece. Philadelphia's roster includes Landon Dickerson, Jalen Hurts, Eli Ricks, DeVonta Smith, Tyler Steen and Byron Young, while Houston's lineup features Will Anderson Jr., Anthony Averett, Christian Harris, John Metchie III, Irv Smith Jr. and Henry To'oTo'o.
Alabama has four former standouts apiece on the Chargers, Ravens and the Lions. Los Angeles' group includes Bradley Bozeman, Justin Eboigbe, Eddie Jackson and JK Scott with Baltimore's roster spotted by Jalyn Armour-Davis, Darrian Dalcourt, Derrick Henry and Marlon Humphrey. Top-seeded Detroit's list is made up of Terrion Arnold, Brian Branch, Jahmyr Gibbs and Jameson Williams.
Both the Commanders and Vikings have three former Tide players, including Washington's Jonathan Allen, Daron Payne and Brian Robinson Jr. along with Minnesota's Will Reichard, Cam Robinson and Dallas Turner. The Bills (Amari Cooper, Kareem Jackson), Packers (Josh Jacobs, Xavier McKinney) and Steelers (Minkah Fitzpatrick, Najee Harris) all feature two Alabama players, while the Broncos (Pat Surtain II) and Buccaneers (Chris Braswell) are each represented by one.
The NFL Playoffs begin with Wild Card Weekend from Jan. 11-13 before the Divisional Round from Jan. 18-19. Championship Sunday is slated for Sunday, Jan. 26 with Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans currently scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9.
