Important Arrival and Entry Information for Football Game vs. Georgia
Fans attending Saturday's game are highly encouraged to arrive at Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium no later than 5 p.m. CT due to heightened security. Gates will open at 4 p.m., and ticketholders should familiarize themselves with the updated stadium map for this weekend, which illustrates specific designated checkpoints for seating areas. Also, fans should be prepared to remove all items from pockets and any pinned-on buttons or larger jewelry, similar to when passing through airport security, before entering. It is recommended that any non-essentials be left at home or in vehicles. Shoes and belts can remain on during screening, however if you have metal in your shoes or belt it will set off the metal detector. If one should set off the walkthrough metal detector, a wand will be used to the side.

Do Right Premiere
Do Right: The Stallings Standard will premiere Thursday at 7 p.m. CT at the Bama Theater in Tuscaloosa. The documentary, produced by UA Professors Chandra Clark and Michael Bruce, is about 1992 National Championship Coach Gene Stallings—who bridged the thirty-year championship gap between University of Alabama coaching legends Paul "Bear" Bryant and Nick Saban—while building international awareness and opportunities for people with developmental disabilities in a football family encouraged to always do the right thing.
Additional showings currently include Shoals Theater in Florence, Ala. on September 29 and Love Civic Center in Paris, Texas on November 3.
University Spotlight
It's no surprise that people want to be a part of The University of Alabama, and the fall 2024 enrollment numbers prove just that. For the first time in school history, we surpassed the 40,000 milestone, with a record 40,846 students. That number includes a record 3,434 freshmen from Alabama, making it the largest in-state class ever.
