Alabama Athletics Hosts Lunch with Legendary Leaders

The event kickstarted the celebration of 50 years of women’s varsity athletics at The Capstone

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama athletics department hosted its first event in celebration of the 50th anniversary of women's varsity athletics campaign, Writ Her Name.

Lunch with Legendary Leaders was held Tuesday at the University Club and featured local and national leaders in a question-and-answer style luncheon. Alabama student-athletes, head coaches and employees of both the University and athletics department attended the two-hour long event.
