Fall Sports in Full Swing this Weekend in Tuscaloosa
There's always a special buzz around campus when we get things started, and this week feels no different with three of our teams in action in Tuscaloosa over the course of four days.
First, our soccer team returned home for a pair of matches, which began Thursday night with an 8-2 victory over Florida Atlantic. Next up is Southern Miss, which is set for a 6 p.m. start on Sunday at the Alabama Soccer Stadium.
Volleyball will play its first matches of the season, hosting Grambling, The Citadel and UT Martin in the Crimson Tide Invitational. The Tide's first match will take place at 12:30 p.m. on Friday with the nightcap set for 7 p.m. in Foster Auditorium. Saturday's tournament finale is set for 2 p.m. where fans with tickets to the football game will get in free.
Speaking of football, we will kick things off Saturday night at 6 p.m., hosting Western Kentucky. In addition to our volleyball match, there is a full slate of activities planned for the day for all those in town to enjoy! Â

Final Four Banner Reveal
On Friday, Oct. 11, men's basketball will unveil its 2024 NCAA Final Four banner and introduce this year's team. Doors to Coleman Coliseum will open at 7:30 p.m. with the event starting at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are available now. Â
Rowing Becomes 22nd Southeastern Conference Sport
Our rowing team is officially part of the Southeastern Conference now as the league announced its sponsorship of the sport, beginning this season. For those of you who didn't know, we used to compete in the Big 12 for rowing. Â
2025 Football TIDE PRIDE Waiting List
The Football TIDE PRIDE Waiting List is the pathway to membership in TIDE PRIDE - Alabama Athletics' priority seating program - and renewable Alabama Football season tickets. University Spotlight
One of the neatest beginning-of-the-year traditions here at The University of Alabama is the annual script A formation on the football field. This year's photo opp, featuring the class of 2028, broke the record for most people to fill out the A!
