Big Weekend Ahead in Tuscaloosa
We've got a full slate of events and lots of sunshine in the forecast this weekend in Tuscaloosa! Great opportunities to come cheer on the Crimson Tide, beginning Friday. Here is a look at what's coming up on campus:

Women's Golf Gears up for SEC Championship
Our women's golf team begins postseason play on Friday with the start of the 2024 SEC Women's Golf Championship. The five-day event will take place at the Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida.
Track and Field Continues Spring Season this Weekend
Our men's and women's track and field squads will split up this weekend, sending student-athletes to both the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California and the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational in Gainesville, Florida. This marks the fourth competition weekend of the outdoor season with two more to go before the SEC championships in May. Last time out, our squads posted seven first-place finishes at the Crimson Tide Invitational.
Gymnastics Advances to NCAA Championship Semifinals
After finishing second at the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional, our gymnastics team punched its ticket to the NCAA Championship Semifinals, which will take place Thursday, April 18 in Fort Worth, Texas. This will be our 39th trip in program history. Quite a feat! Â
Historic Season for Alabama Men's Basketball
What an exciting run it was over the last month for our men's basketball team as we made history in advancing to the program's first NCAA Final Four. We are so proud of how this group came together to achieve all that it did and are grateful for the job Coach Oats and his staff do, both on and off the court. We look forward to continued success for years to come.
Latest LEARFIELD Directors' Cup Standings Released
We were thrilled to see Alabama at No. 9 in the latest LEARFIELD Director's Cup standings, which were announced Thursday. As a department, we strive to be in the top 25 at the conclusion of each athletic season, and we are well on our way to achieving that feat again.
McWhorter Nominees Announced
Congratulations to Anne Marie Hiser (tennis) and Eric Stelmar (swimming and diving) for being nominated for the H. Boyd McWhorter Scholar-Athlete Post-Graduate Scholarship. This prestigious honor has been presented by the SEC since 1986 to the league's top male and female scholar-athletes with the winners receiving a $20,000 scholarship and the remaining finalists a $10,000 scholarship.
BamaSB to Premiere Monday Night on SEC Network
Make sure to tune into SEC Network on Monday, April 15 at 8 p.m. CT for the television premiere of "Bama SB." The latest SEC Storied documentary chronicles the path of the 2012 softball team en route to the program's, and SEC's, first NCAA Women's College World Series title. If you're at Monday's softball game, stick around as we will be showing it on the videoboard.
Tide on Tour: The Masters
Three pros are representing Alabama men's golf at The Masters this week in Justin Thomas, Nick Dunlap and Lee Hodges. The tournament will be played April 11-14 at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia.
Save the Date for Bama Blitz
Save the date! Bama Blitz, the seventh-annual University-wide giving event is coming up April 16-18. Athletics will be raising support for the Crimson Tide Scholarship Fund (CTSF). The CTSF is the annual scholarship fund for Alabama Athletics, which provides critical scholarship support for our student-athletes. Your gift of any amount will put us one step closer toward our goal of funding a full annual scholarship during the two-day online giving event. For more information, visit bamablitz.ua.edu.
