
Alabama Earns No. 4 Seed, Double-Bye in 2024 SEC Women’s Basketball Tournament

The Crimson Tide will take on No. 5 Tennessee vs. No. 12 Kentucky/No. 13 Georgia in Friday’s quarterfinal matchup
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Following Sunday's regular season finale win at Texas A&M, the Alabama women's basketball team secured the No. 4 overall seed and a double-bye in the 2024 Southeastern Conference Tournament. The Crimson Tide will play its opening contest in Friday's quarterfinal contest at approximately 1:30 p.m. CT on SEC Network.
Alabama will face one of three opponents Friday afternoon, taking on the winner between Thursday's second round contest between No. 5 seed Tennessee and either No. 12 Kentucky or No. 13 Georgia (11 a.m. CT tipoff), which will be played Wednesday night.
The Tide finished the regular season with a 23-8 overall record and a 10-6 mark in conference play. The 23 wins are the most since the 1991-92 season.
This year's tournament will be held March 6-10 at Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, S.C.
