No. 10/15 Cross Country Heads to Windy City for Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational

The Crimson Tide returns to action Friday morning in Chicago for its final road competition of the 2024 season
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The No. 10/15 Alabama men's and women's cross country squads will head to Chicago Friday for the 45th annual Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational. Running at Sydney R. Marovitz Golf Course, the women's 6k race will start at 10 a.m. CT, with the men's 8k race beginning at 10:40 a.m.
The meet marks the final road competition of the Tide's 2024 campaign before concluding its regular season at home, Oct. 18, for the Crimson Classic.
Entering the weekend, the UA men are ranked No. 10 in the nation and No. 1 in the South Region, according to the United States Track and Field & Cross Country Coaches Association's (USTFCCCA) rankings. On the women's side, Alabama sits at No. 15 nationally and No. 3 in the South Region.
