NCAA Men's Basketball Final Four Banner Reveal set for Friday
Men's basketball will unveil its 2024 NCAA Final Four banner on Friday, Oct. 11 at Coleman Coliseum with the event set to begin at 8:30 p.m. CT. In addition to the banner reveal, there will also be a ring presentation, team introductions, three-point and dunk contests and a scrimmage. Public tickets are currently on sale for $10 while Yea Alabama members will receive priority seating and students receiving free admission.
Football Returns to Tuscaloosa
Our football team is back home this weekend, hosting the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday at 11 a.m. CT. While the game is sold out, tickets are available through our ticket partners at SeatGeek. Champions Lane, our pregame fanfest area, will open at 8 a.m. CT with Jake Matthew set to perform from 9-10:45 a.m. CT and the baseball team lined up for autographs from 9-10 a.m. CT.
Limited Tickets Remain for Crimson Kickoff with Coach DeBoer
We've got a handful of tickets remaining for Friday's Crimson Kickoff with Coach DeBoer. The luncheon, which takes place at the Bryant Conference Center, will feature a buffet, up-to-date information about the weekend's events and an opportunity to hear from Coach Kalen DeBoer. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. CT with the event set to start at noon.
Soccer to Host Aggies on Sunday for Pups at the Pitch and SOCtober Fest
Following a trip to Auburn on Thursday night, our soccer team returns to town to host Texas A&M on Sunday, Oct. 13 at 6 p.m. CT. Several promotions going on for this match with the annual Pups at the Pitch and SOCtober Fest events. The first 250 dogs at the game will receive a free Alabama soccer leash, and as part of SOCtober Fest, the first 150 fans will receive a free glass stein or an Alabama water bottle.
Volleyball Hits the Road this Weekend, Back at Foster next Week
Coming off an exciting 3-2 victory over Georgia, our volleyball team heads west to take on Missouri and Arkansas this weekend. They will be back in action at home next week, hosting Auburn in Foster Auditorium on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. CT and Kentucky on Sunday, Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. CT.
Cross Country Gears up for Crimson Classic
Join us at the Harry Pritchett Running Park bright and early on Friday, Oct. 18 as our men's and women's cross country teams host the annual Crimson Classic meet. The men's race is set for an 8:30 a.m. CT start with the women to follow at 9:20 a.m. CT. There will be coffee and food trucks on site as well as Krispy Kreme donuts.
Softball Readies for First Fall Ball Games
Our softball team will host its first Fall Ball games of the season on Sunday, Oct. 13 with a doubleheader against Itawamba beginning at 1:30 p.m. CT. Other home fall dates include Friday, Oct. 18 vs. West Alabama (DH) and Sunday, Oct. 20 vs. Stillman (DH). We will also travel to Jacksonville State on Sunday, Oct. 27.
ITA Fall Regional Championships on Deck for Tennis
Next up for both of our tennis teams are the ITA Fall Regional Championships. The women's tournament began today in Auburn and will run through Tuesday, Oct. 15, while the men will head to Baton Rouge next week with the tournament set to run Wednesday, Oct. 16 through Monday, Oct. 21.
University Spotlight
One of the best parts of our pregame festivities at football are the flyovers, and this weekend, we will have one of our own in the sky as Kyle Wise, Alabama Law student, will lead the four AH-64 Apache helicopters over Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Thank you for your service!
