Thank you, Coach Saban
For the last 17 years, Alabama football has been under the direction of one of the greatest coaches of all time, in any sport. Coach Saban, we thank you for your leadership, your development of the young men in our program both on and off the field, the impact you and Ms. Terry have had in our community and our state and for the countless memories and experiences you've provided to so many fans. We appreciate all you've done and will continue to do in this next chapter.
Welcome to Tuscaloosa, Coach DeBoer
On Saturday, we formally introduced Kalen DeBoer as our 28th head football coach. Coach DeBoer won seven 2023 national coach of the year awards after guiding Washington to the College Football Playoff National Championship Game and a Pac-12 Championship. In his nine seasons as a head coach, he's 104-12, including a 25-3 record with the Huskies. Welcome to Coach DeBoer, his wife Nicole, and daughters Alexis and Avery!
Yea Alabama adds over 1,200 New Members

Cheer Posts Pair of Runner-Up Finishes at 2024 UCA/UDA Nationals
Our spirit squads returned home from Orlando with more hardware, including a pair of runner-up finishes in the All Girl and Co-ed competitions at the 2024 UCA and UDA College Cheerleading and Dance Team National Championships. Additionally, our dance team advanced to the Division I Jazz finals, finishing eighth. Great job by these men and women, not only at their national competition, but also throughout the year where they support and represent The University of Alabama so well.
ABCA Recognizes Jim Wells, Jason Jackson at 2024 Banquet
We had not one, but two coaches honored at the 2024 American Baseball Coaches Association Convention Banquet last week with former skipper Jim Wells being inducted into the ABCA Hall of Fame and Jason Jackson earning the 2023 ABCA/Marines National Assistant Coach of the Year award for Division I.
Coach Wells is the first coach in Alabama history selected to the ABCA Hall of Fame, earning the nod after guiding the Tide to 625 wins, three trips to the College World Series, 12 NCAA Regional titles, six SEC Tournament championships, two SEC regular season titles and three SEC Western Division championships.
Coach Jackson led one of the nation's top pitching staffs all season and assumed the interim head coach role over the final two months of the 2023 campaign. He finished with 13 wins during that stretch and helped lead our program to an NCAA Super Regional appearance for the first time since 2014.
Congratulations to Coach Wells and Coach Jackson!
Antonio Langham Named to 2024 College Football Hall of Fame Class
More congratulations are in order as we recognize Antonio Langham for being named to the 2024 College Football Hall of Fame class. Antonio, the Tide's 27th inductee, is a two-time All-American cornerback, program's first winner of the Thorpe Award and winner of the inaugural SEC Championship Most Valuable Player. He will be formally inducted during the National Football Foundation's Annual Awards Dinner on December 10, 2024.
Thank You to Our Generous Supporters
As we begin a New Year, we thank those of you who supported Alabama Athletics through contributions to the Crimson Tide Foundation in 2023. Your generosity helps ensure that our student-athletes, coaches and staff have the resources necessary to continue our proud tradition of academic and athletic excellence. We are grateful for your loyalty and support!
