
Thirty-Six Former Alabama Players Spot 2024 NFL Playoff Rosters

The Crimson Tide is represented on 13 of the 14 teams in this year’s postseason
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The National Football League playoffs begin on Saturday afternoon with Alabama represented by at least one player on 13 of the 14 teams in the postseason. A total of 36 former Crimson Tide players will spot the active roster, practice squad or injured reserve of their respective team.
Looking to make another run to the Super Bowl, the Philadelphia Eagles have the most Tide alumni of any roster in the postseason with seven. Landon Dickerson, Jalen Hurts, Josh Jobe, Julio Jones, Eli Ricks, DeVonta Smith and Tyler Steen help to make up Philly's postseason squad.
The Miami Dolphins have been led by former Crimson Tide standouts all season. Lester Cotton, Raekwon Davis, Da'Shawn Hand, Tua Tagovailoa and Jaylen Waddle venture to Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday night to face off with the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs feature former UA defensive lineman Isaiah Buggs.
After claiming the AFC South title, DeMeco Ryans and the Houston Texans look to continue their excellent season in a Wild Card matchup with the Cleveland Browns. Will Anderson Jr., Christian Harris, Kareem Jackson, John Metchie III and Henry To'oTo'o represent the Tide on the Texans roster, while Amari Cooper, Alex Leatherwood, Dalvin Tomlinson and Jedrick Wills Jr. headline the Browns' group.
After clinching their first division title since 1993, the Lions will begin their playoff push on Sunday night in primetime. Brian Branch, Jahmyr Gibbs and Jameson Williams look to help Detroit defend its home field against the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams' roster features Miller Forristall and Carson Tinker.
Waiting until the final week of the NFL season to get into the playoffs, the Pittsburgh Steelers are in familiar territory when it comes to postseason play. Minkah Fitzpatrick, Najee Harris and Levi Wallace look to lead the Steelers in a road pairing against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday afternoon. Former Tide running back Damien Harris represents the Bills.
Green Bay defeated the Chicago Bears in Week 18 to secure their spot in the playoffs. Kenyan Drake and the Packers will head to Dallas during a Wild Card Weekend pairing with the Dallas Cowboys, who feature Trevon Diggs.
After earning the AFC's top seed, the Baltimore Ravens, along with former UA defensive backs Jalyn Armour-Davis and Marlon Humphrey await their opponent until the divisional round next week. The San Francisco 49ers are the top-team in the NFC with rookie Cameron Latu spotting their roster.
