Petra Sedlackova clinched the win for the Crimson Tide with a three-set, come-from-behind victory on court three

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. –– The Alabama women's tennis team (10-7, 3-4 SEC) held on to take a 4-2 win over the LSU Tigers (9-6, 2-5 SEC) on Sunday at the Alabama Tennis Stadium. After LSU closed the gap to 3-2, a come-from-behind win from Petra Sedlackova clinched the victory for the Tide.

After winning the doubles point, Alabama jumped out to an early 3-0 lead with back-to-back wins on singles courts five and six. LSU responded with a pair of victories, winning courts one and two, before UA found its deciding point off a three-set victory from Sedlackova on court three.

The win marked the first time since the 2014 and 2015 season that Alabama has defeated LSU in back-to-back years.

LSU took the first win of the day with a 6-4 doubles victory on court one
