
Alabama Rowing Opens Spring Schedule With Saturday Scrimmage At Clemson

The Tide is set to race Clemson on Lake Hartwell at 7:30 a.m. CT
CLEMSON, S.C. – Alabama rowing heads east to open its spring schedule, facing Clemson in a scrimmage on Saturday, Feb. 25 beginning at 7:30 a.m. CT.
The Crimson Tide will be bringing a group of 32 rowers and seven coxswains. The teams will begin competition at 7:30 a.m. CT with two 8s racing 2,000 meters, followed by four 4s in 2,000-meter races at 7:40 a.m. CT and then, following a break, a series of six 1,000-meter pieces starting with two 8s at 8:30 a.m. CT and four 4s approximately 10 minutes later.
After this weekend, Alabama returns to Tuscaloosa to host Eastern Michigan on Saturday, March 4. The Crimson Tide will be celebrating its senior day after the conclusion of racing.
