Alabama’s Hannah Barber Named CSC Academic All-District Team

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama's Hannah Barber was named to the College Sports Communicators' Women's Basketball Academic All-District Team, the organization announced.

Barber earned the honor for the first time in her career. The graduate student holds a 3.833 GPA in marketing. Additionally, she recorded a 3.75 GPA while pursuing an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with a concentration on exercise science.

Leads Alabama in assists (2.7 apg) and three-point percentage (46.7 percent)
Third-leading point scorer for the Tide, averaging 7.8 points per game
Posted a season-high 14 points twice in SEC contests (Texas A&M and Vanderbilt)
Ranks third in assists among SEC active career leaders with 337
Ranks eighth all-time at Alabama in career assists and 10^th in career threes (179)
Member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee
Named to the SEC Honor Roll and Dean's List
Helped lead UA to back-to-back 20-win seasons
UA recorded a program-best five consecutive SEC regular season road wins
