TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama women's tennis team (5-2) defeated Tulane (3-4), 5-2, on Saturday afternoon at the Alabama Tennis Stadium. The victory secured the Crimson Tide its fifth win of the season.

Alabama clinched the doubles point after securing two 6-1 victories on courts three (Ola Pitak and Kasia Pitak) and two (Anne Marie Hiser and Loudmilla Bencheikh), respectively. The Tide grabbed two-straight singles victories before Tulane's Adelaide Lavery secured the Green Wave its first point of the day. Alabama would add two more wins to its total before Tulane ended the match with a victory on court four.
