Three Tide Football Players Earn Walter Camp All-America Accolades

Latham, McKinstry and Turner were all named second-teamers on the All-America list
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama football's JC Latham, Kool-Aid McKinstry and Dallas Turner were all named second team All-Americans by the Walter Camp Football Foundation, the group announced Friday night as part of the Home Depot College Football Awards.
Latham was selected along the offensive line, McKinstry at defensive back and Turner at linebacker.
Second Team All-American
- A powerful presence at right tackle on the Crimson Tide offensive line
- Recorded 41 knockdown blocks across 813 snaps this season to average 3.2 per contest
- Allowed just two sacks in 408 pass sets across his 13 starts
- A lockdown corner who has been target just 37 times in 13 contests
- Allowed only 183 total yards on the year and has forced 10 incompletions per Pro Football Focus
- Also contributed 27 total tackles, including two for loss (-4 yards)
Dallas Turner, Linebacker
- One of the top pass rushers in all of college football who has accumulated 46 quarterback pressures as graded by the Tide coaching staff
- Totaled 50 tackles, including a team-high 13.5 for loss (-86 yards) and nine sacks (-66 yards)
- Also registered a team-high 13 quarterback hurries to go with two forced fumbles and one pass breakup
