The Crimson Tide will travel to Knoxville, Tenn., for a three-day invitational meet to close out the fall
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The No. 19/20 Alabama swimming and diving teams return to action on Wednesday as the Crimson Tide opens competition at the Tennessee Invite in Knoxville, Tenn. The three-day meet, which features some of the top programs in the country, will run from Nov. 15-17 at Tennessee's Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center.
The Meet
- Date: Wednesday - Friday
- Time:
- Prelims: 8:30 a.m.
- Finals: 5 p.m.
- The 1650-yard freestyle will begin at 2:20 p.m. on Friday
- All times central
- Venue: Allan Jones Intercollegiate Aquatic Center – Knoxville, Tenn.

- Live results will be pushed to Meet Mobile (Andriod | Apple)
The Competition
- The No. 20 Crimson Tide is one of seven teams ranked in the women's competition
- No. 1 Virginia, No. 6 Tennessee, No. 15 Duke, No. 16 North Carolina, No. 17 Virginia Tech and No. 19 Kentucky
- On the men's side, No. 19 UA is one of five programs in the top 25
- No. 6 Tennessee, No. 11 Virginia Tech No. 15 Virginia and No. 25 Kentucky
- Ten teams will compete in total as Arkansas, Kentucky, South Carolina and UNC Asheville round out the list
The Tide
- The Alabama men enter the meet at No. 19 in the CSCAA rankings as the women check in at No. 20
- The UA female divers are coming off a commanding 51-5 win over West Florida in a meet that secured seven NCAA Zone cuts
- Ryleigh Rodgers continues to lead the Southeastern Conference with her three-meter score (348.75) that was secured in Alabama's season opener against Delta State (9/29)
- The Crimson Tide currently has four individual swims and five relay teams ranked within the top-25 nationally
- Jada Scott paces the team, ranking 17th in the 100 free (49.05), 18th in the 50 free (22.55) and 20th in the 50 backstroke (24.50)
- Avery Wiseman ranks 22nd in the 200 breaststroke (2:12.41)
- The women's 200 medley relay ranks eighth (1:38.09) and the 200 free relay 14th (1:31.00)
- The men's 400 free relay ranks 16th (2:55.72), the 200 free relay ranks 17th (1:19.56) and the 200 medley relay ranks 22nd (1:26.98)
