
Macy Clem Named to SEC Community Service Team

The graduate student has spent time volunteering with several organizations throughout her time at Alabama
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama graduate student Macy Clem was named to the 2023 Southeastern Conference Soccer Community Service Team, the league office announced Wednesday.
With 100 appearances in an Alabama soccer uniform, Clem has served as a leader both on and off the field for the Crimson Tide. Throughout her five years, she has volunteered with several organizations and has given back to the Tuscaloosa Community.

- A part of Woodland Elementary's Welcome Back Event, where she greeted students and welcomed them on their first day of school
- Has volunteered with Rise Center and Crossing Points, two organizations that work with individuals with special needs
- Also volunteered with National Girls and Women in Sports Day, a Night to Shine and UA's Halloween Extravaganza
- A two-time Dean's List honoree
- Named the Alabama Student-Athlete of the Month for her contributions to the community in September
- Currently, an intern with the Crimson Tide Foundation as she works towards a graduate degree in sport hospitality management
- Earned her undergraduate degree in the spring of 2023, majoring in human performance and exercise science with a minor in psychology
- Has competed in a 100 games with UA, becoming just the second student-athlete in program history to reach the milestone
