
No. 19/20 Alabama Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Hosts Missouri in Friday Meet

The Crimson Tide will go head-to-head with the Missouri Tigers on Friday in a 10 a.m. CT competition at the Alabama Aquatic Center
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The No. 19 men's and No. 20 women's Alabama swimming and diving teams will host their first Southeastern Conference dual meet on Friday as the teams welcome the No. 20/RV Missouri Tigers to the Don Gambril Olympic Pool in the Alabama Aquatic Center. SEC Network+ will stream both the swimming and diving events beginning at 10 a.m. CT.
The Meet
- Date: Friday
- Time: 10 a.m. CT
- The fan entrance to the aquatics center is located on Bryant Drive, across the street from Regions Bank
- Admission is free
- Venue: Don Gambril Olympic Pool in the Alabama Aquatic Center

vs. Missouri
- Alabama and Missouri will go head-to-head in a dual meet for the first time since the 2026-17 season
- Missouri enters the meet ranked 20th on the men's side and is receiving votes on the women's side
- The women finished fourth at their season opener, SMU Classic, while the men finished fifth in a competition that featured Auburn, Louisville, Southern California, Southern Methodist and Miami
The Tide
- The Crimson Tide enters the week ranked in the top 25 on both sides as the men rank 19th and the women rank 20th in the CSCAA's first poll of the year
- Alabama is coming off a commanding victory against Delta State in the team's season opener
- The UA women swept all 16 events, taking a 249-50 victory, while the men won 15 of 16 individual competitions for a 237-59 score
- Tommy Hagar garnered attention in his collegiate debut as he earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors for winning a trio of events (200 butterfly, 200 backstroke, 200 IM) in addition to a relay victory (200 medley relay)
- Despite competing nearly a month ago, three UA swimmers still rank in the top-25 nationally
- Jada Scott ranks 12th in the 50 backstroke (24.85), Avery Wiseman ranks 15th in the 100 breaststroke (1:01.29) and Cadence Vincent ranks 25th in the 100 free (49.75)
- Ryleigh Rodgers' 3m board score (348.75) still paces the conference as she leads a UA diving core that has already secured six NCAA Zone cuts
