TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The National Football League concluded Week 6 of the regular season Monday evening. Below is a look at how former Alabama players performed on the gridiron last week.
Tua Tagovailoa was efficient in Miami's 42-21 win over rookie quarterback Bryce Young and the Carolina Panthers. Tagovailoa completed 21-of-31 passes for 262 yards and three touchdowns on the day. He now leads the NFL in passing yards (1,876), is tied for the league lead in passing touchdowns (14) and ranks second in completion percentage among starting quarterbacks (71.1 percent).

A pair of former Tide receivers helped their respective squads to wins on Sunday. Veteran Amari Cooper shined in Cleveland's 19-17 win over the previously unbeaten San Francisco 49ers. Cooper hauled in four receptions for 108 yards to help the Browns complete the upset. Jameson Williams put together his best performance to date for the Lions, catching two passes for 53 yards and a score in Detroit's 20-6 road victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
On the defensive side of the ball, C.J. Mosley and Quinnen Williams continued their dominant play for the New York Jets. Mosley recorded nine total tackles, forced a fumble and added a pass breakup in the 20-14 victory over the previously unbeaten Philadelphia Eagles. Williams added two tackles, deflected a pass and picked off the first pass of his career.
Christian Barmore was dominant up front in the Patriots' matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. Barmore totaled five tackles, including one for loss, and added two pass breakups to New England's defensive effort. Rounding out the defensive group was Xavier McKinney of the New York Giants.
