The Crimson Tide looks to improve to 7-0 in SEC play
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama men's basketball wraps up its two-game roadtrip on Saturday against Missouri at Mizzou Arena. The No. 4/4 Crimson Tide look to improve to 7-0 in the Southeastern Conference while the Tigers are coming off their third win over an AP Top-25 opponent this season (79-76 vs. No. 25 Arkansas).Â
The Alabama-Missouri matchup features two of the best scorers in the conference as Alabama's Brandon Miller ranks first in the SEC, scoring 21.6 points per game during conference play, while Mizzou's Kobe Brown is averaging 18.1 points per contest, which ranks No. 4 during SEC games.Â
The Broadcast
Saturday's game is set for a 5 p.m. CT tipoff and will be aired on the SEC Network with Mike Morgan (play-by-play) and Daymeon FIshback (analyst) on the call.
The radio broadcast can be heard on the Crimson Tide Sports Network with Chris Stewart (play-by-play) and Bryan Passink (analyst) on the call, while Tom Stipe (engineer) is turning the dials. The pregame show will begin one hour prior to tipoff.

- Miller is one of six players in Division I, the only player in the SEC and the only freshman in the country that has scored 360 points and recorded 150 rebounds this season
About MissouriÂ
- Mizzou ranks third nationally with a turnover margin of +7.1, outscoring teams 22.3 to 12.6 in points off turnovers
- Kobe Brown is on target to become the first Tiger in 11 years to average 15 points, five
- rebounds and two assists
- D'Moi Hodge is averaging 16.7 points in wins this year but just 9.3 points in losses
- Missouri is shooting 36.9 percent from 3-point range at home – 14.1 percent higher than its 22.8 percent on the road
- Mizzou is currently one of just four schools in the nation to feature five 1,000-point scorers (Penn State, San Diego and UAB)
- Players with past Division I experience and in their first year at Mizzou are accounting for 74.5 percent of its points, 65.4 percent of rebounds, 83.1 percent of assists, 48.1 percent of blocks and 79.8 percent of steals
- The Tigers currently rank first in the country with 11.6 steals per game, while placing ninth overall by forcing 18.8 turnovers per game
- Nine Tigers have scored in double figures this year, while Mizzou features four players averaging at least 10.0 points
