
Alabama Softball Welcomes Rising Junior Emma Broadfoot

The Danville, Ala., native hit .344 with 16 home runs over two seasons at UNA
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama softball announced the addition of rising junior Emma Broadfoot to its 2023 roster, joining the Crimson Tide after two seasons at North Alabama.
A native of Danville, Ala., Broadfoot hit .344 over her career with 95 hits, including 20 doubles and 16 home runs for the Lions. She was an ASUN Conference All-Freshman team honoree in 2021 and First Team All-Conference honoree in 2022, setting UNA Division I single-season records in hits, RBIs, doubles and walks. She had 20 multi-hit games and 16 multi-RBI games for the Lions in 2022.
She was a Class 4A All-State selection from 2018-20 at Danville High School, leading the team to area championships in 2018 and 2019.
Broadfoot joins a 2023 Crimson Tide roster that includes fellow transfer Faith Hensley and returning NFCA All-American Montana Fouts and All-Region honorees Bailey Dowling, Ashley Prange and Ally Shipman.
