The Crimson Tide defeats Jones College, 10-0, and West Alabama, 7-0
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama softball continued its fall slate Saturday afternoon at Rhoads Stadium with a pair of shutout wins, defeating Jones College 10-0 in a 10.0 inning contest before beating West Alabama 7-0.
From Head Coach Patrick Murpy
"I thought all the pitchers did great and the catchers caught them very well. The defense was awesome as well. We've only had one error so far this fall, so I'll take that any day. As the day went along, I thought the at-bats got better and better. We hit a couple on the screws that just hit a wall with the wind but overall I was very pleased. We had some very good baserunning situations, especially with Noelani Livingstone and Ava Briski pinch-running today, and that will pay off bigtime for us in the spring."
