
Alabama Competes In SEC Road Contests Against No. 15 Florida, South Carolina

The Crimson Tide travels to No. 15 Florida Friday before heading to No. 34 South Carolina on Sunday
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. –– The Alabama women's tennis team closes out its final two Southeastern Conference road matches this weekend as the team plays No. 15 Florida on Friday and No. 34 South Carolina on Sunday. Alabama's match against the Gators is set to begin at 4 p.m. CT at the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex while the Crimson Tide's match against the Gamecocks is set to start at 12 p.m. CT at the Carolina Tennis Center.

- The team ranks 34th nationally with Sarah Hamner pacing the squad as the second-ranked singles player in the country
- Additionally, Ayana Akli ranks 57th and Elise Mills ranks 104th in singles, while Hamner and Misa Malkin rank 25th and Ayana Akli and Malkin rank 77th in doubles
- The Gamecocks won their last outing, defeating Kentucky 4-2 on the road
- Prior to that, USC fell 4-3 to Vanderbilt in Nashville
