Alabama Captures 2-1 Win Over Auburn

The Crimson Tide defeated the Tigers 2-1 with goals from Riley Mattingly Parker and Felicia Knox
AUBURN, Ala. – The Alabama soccer team posted a 2-1 win over Auburn Friday night to remain undefeated in its spring matches. Riley Mattingly Parker and Felicia Knox notched goals for the Crimson Tide at the Auburn Soccer Complex to lead UA in the victory.
A cross from Riley Tanner found the head of Parker inside the box to give Alabama its first goal of the game. Knox would follow with the game winner, taking advantage of a free kick by firing a shot into the back of the net for the victory.

Alabama closes the spring season at home, hosting Mississippi State at the Alabama Soccer Stadium on April 22. Kickoff between the two teams is set for 7 p.m. CT.
