Alabama Rowing Hosts Tennessee Saturday in Top-20 Matchup on the Black Warrior River

This marks the first meeting between the teams in Tuscaloosa
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Originally scheduled to take place in Oak Ridge, Tenn., Alabama and Tennessee will now meet in Tuscaloosa for the first time ever as action on the Black Warrior River begins Saturday at 9 a.m. CT.
The Crimson Tide and Lady Vols are the only Southeastern Conference teams that sponsor rowing and are both affiliate member of the Big 12 in the sport. The two teams are neck-and-neck in this week's CRCA Division I Rankings, with Tennessee at No. 17 and Alabama at No. 18.
The Varsity 8+ will kick things off at 9 a.m. CT with subsequent races starting in 15-minute increments with the 2V8, 1V4, 2 and 3V4, 3V8 and 4 and 5V8 to wrap things up.
