Alabama Rowing Concludes Weekend at Cardinal Invitational Sunday

The Crimson Tide returns to the water Saturday, April 2 in Tuscaloosa against Tennessee
OAK RIDGE, Tenn. – Alabama rowing concluded its weekend at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invitational Sunday with six races at Melton Lake, including a win in the 3V8.
The Crimson Tide's 3V8 won in the final race of the day, defeating Notre Dame and Indiana with a mark of 6:57.541. Alabama's 1V8 finished second (6:32.584) in its race against Yale, Indiana and Notre Dame while the 3V4 (7:34.450) and 2V4 (7:34.773) also posted second-place finishes.
Alabama will be back in action on Saturday, April 2 hosting Tennessee in Tuscaloosa for the first time in program history. The two teams were originally scheduled to face off in Oak Ridge but the race was moved to the Black Warrior River.

"It was a solid weekend of racing. All of our crews had some races they can build off of and we learned some lessons that can only be gained on the race course against strong competition. Thanks to the Louisville coaches and staff as well as all the great people at the Oak Ridge Rowing Association for organizing and hosting the event."
