Head Coach Kristy Curry
"Just, you know, what a tremendous effort by our kids. But I want to open by saying that our thoughts and prayers are with Jordan Horston. We just hope she is ok, and you hate to see any kind of injury. With the weather tonight I pray that everybody is safe, it was really a tough night for all fans to come out and I just hope and pray that everybody across the south is okay. There are much bigger things than basketball.
But at the end of the day, I'm just so proud of our team, you know, they just continued to fight through adversity. Close losses, tough moments and tonight we found a way to finish, and we put four quarters together and we were the aggressor. We were able to get enough stops, but I thought our ball movement and the way our kids shared the ball really came out and played the way we've been telling them. It's all about the will to win and the will to finish. Just really have to respect the character that the kids showed down the stretch to finish the game."
