The 14-team field will compete against some of the nation’s top teams over 54 holes from Sunday through Tuesday
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's golf team will open the 2022 Spring season at the Watersound Invitational, hosted by Florida State. The three-day, 54-hole tournament will tee off Sunday morning and be played across three days on the par 72, 7,202-yard Shark's Tooth Golf Course in Panama City Beach, Fla.
Head Coach Jay Seawell Comments
"I'm excited about this group. I think they made a lot of good strides last fall. Through COVID and little things here and there, we have kind of dipped as a program. That starts internally, with attitudes and work ethic, and we had to establish what our goals were going to be. We have a great tradition here. This past fall, I think the guys did a good job of buying in. We really wanted to start the building blocks of really becoming Alabama golf again, and that is our biggest goal."
