
Four Former Alabama Football Players Set to Take Part in Super Bowl LVI

Alabama will be represented on both sides of the ball in this year’s championship game
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Former Alabama standouts A'Shawn Robinson, Terrell Lewis and Jonah Williams will appear in Super Bowl LVI as the Los Angeles Rams are set to square off with the Cincinnati Bengals. Damion Square remains on the practice squad for the Bengals after playing in the AFC Championship.
The 2022 Super Bowl will kick off at 5:30 p.m. CT on Sunday, Feb. 12, inside SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif. The game will air live on NBC with the duo of Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth on the call.
LOS ANGELES RAMS
A'Shawn Robinson, Defensive Lineman
- Helped lead the Rams to their second Super Bowl appearance in four years
- Contributed 16 total tackles across three games during the postseason
- Totaled 24 tackles, including two sacks, while forcing a pair of fumbles in 17 games of action during the regular season
Terrell Lewis, Linebacker
- Appeared in 11 games with four starts during the regular season
- Collected 20 total tackles to go with three sacks and a forced fumble
CINCINNATI BENGALS
Jonah Williams, Offensive Lineman
- Started and played in 16 games during the regular season
- Helped the Bengals produce the NFL's seventh-ranked passing and scoring offense
- Anchored an offensive front that allowed time for two 1,000-yard receivers while opening holes for a 1,000-yard rusher
Damion Square, Defensive End
- Appeared in nine games for two different teams during the regular season
- Began his playoff run with the Las Vegas Raiders before signing on with the Bengals practice squad
- Brought up from the practice squad and saw action in the AFC Championship
Last weekend marked the NFL's annual Pro Bowl, with five former Alabama players representing the Crimson Tide in the all-star matchup. The AFC roster featured New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones, Indianapolis Colts center Ryan Kelly and Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najee Harris. The NFC squad had two former Crimson Tide standouts in Washington Commanders defensive lineman Jonathan Allen and Dallas Cowboys defensive back Trevon Diggs.
