TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama women's basketball team will square off against No. 15/14 Georgia at Stegeman Coliseum in Athens, Ga., Sunday, Jan. 9 at 2 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast on SEC Network, with Sam Gore and Tamika Catchings on the call.
The Crimson Tide is 10-4 this season, including 1-2 in the conference and 1-1 in true road games. Alabama is coming off a loss to Mississippi State, 65-62, in Coleman Coliseum last Thursday. Hannah Barber logged 19 points on 7-of-11 shooting, including 5-of-8 from the arc, setting a season-high in scoring and a career-high in 3-pointers. Three players had a double-digit game, while Megan Abrams (14) and Brittany Davis (11) rounded out the trio.
All three veterans in Abrams, Barber and Davis combined for 10 3-pointers in the conference contest, while they are each ranked in the Southeastern Conference's top 10 in three-point field goals and three-point field goals per game.
Davis has paced the Crimson Tide in scoring average and rebounding average all season, posting 14.8 points per game and grabbing 7.4 rebounds per game. Barber is leading the effort in assists (44), while also ranking third in the conference and 12th nationally in assist-turnover ratio (2.93). Mingo-Young is fourth in the league in steals per game (2.4), while Jada Rice is taking care of blocked shots (23).

- Barber, a guard from Homewood, Ala., led the Crimson Tide in scoring for the first time this season, recording a season-high 19 points on 7-of-11 from the field and 5-of-8 from long range.
