SCOUTING ALABAMA
- No. 4 Alabama is 36-7 overall and 12-6 in SEC play after earning two wins over 13th-ranked Louisiana last weekend in Tuscaloosa
- The Crimson Tide has two weeks left to play in the regular season, wrapping up its SEC schedule against Georgia (April 30-May 2) and Ole Miss (May 6-8)

- In game one, a four-run first inning that included Lexi Kilfoyl's first career home run allowed Alabama to hold on for the 5-3 win
- Montana Fouts tallied her sixth-straight start with 10 or more strikeouts, all of which have come against ranked opponents
- Despite being out-hit 6-4 in game two, the Tide used speed on the basepaths and capitalized on Louisiana errors on offense and defense to earn the 5-1 win
- Savannah Woodard hit the eighth inside-the-park home run in program history, part of a 2-for-3 day with two runs scored and two RBIs
- The wins improved Alabama's record to 16-6 vs. ranked opponents this season
MONTANA FOUTS NAMED SEC PITCHER OF THE WEEK
- For the third time this season, Alabama's Montana Fouts has been named the SEC Softball Pitcher of the Week
- Fouts appeared in all three games last week, earning a complete-game win and a pair of saves
- She secured the final out in Wednesday's 6-3 win over Southern Miss for her second save of the year before returning to the circle on Saturday against 13th-ranked Louisiana, throwing a complete game with 11 strikeouts in the 5-3 win over the Ragin' Cajuns
- It marked her sixth-straight start with 10 or more strikeouts, all of which have come against ranked opponents
- She closed Sunday's 5-1 win against Louisiana with a 3.0 inning save, giving up a hit to the first batter she faced before retiring the next nine straight, including four strikeouts
SEC WEEKLY AWARD WINNERS
- Montana Fouts' Pitcher of the Week award this week is the eighth weekly honor this season for Alabama, marking its second-highest total in program history
- The Tide has earned three Pitcher of the Week (Fouts x3), three Player of the Week (Hemphill x2, Tow) and two Newcomer of the Week (Kilfoyl x2) awards this season

- She is the fifth player in program history to reach the 50 home run mark, the first since Hunt
- Hemphill tied the UA single-season record in 2019 with 26 home runs
- With her second home run in game one against Auburn on March 12, Hemphill became the third player in program history to surpass the 200 career RBI mark, joining Charlotte Morgan (2007-10) and Kaila Hunt (2011-14) in the prestigious club
- Now with 221 career RBIs, Hemphill passed Hunt's total of 215 and continues to close in on Morgan's school-record total of 264
