The Crimson Tide won at No. 2 doubles and pushed No. 1 doubles to 7-5 to narrowly give up the doubles point

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama women's tennis team fell to No. 12 LSU by a score of 4-0 Friday afternoon at the Alabama Tennis Stadium. The Crimson Tide goes 11-9 on the season while the Tigers are now 11-4.

Anne Marie Hiser and Sydney Riley won at No. 2 while Moka Ito and Loudmilla Bencheikh came close at No. 1, before falling 7-5 and giving the Tigers the doubles point. LSU then clinched the match with three-straight wins in singles, although the Tide was in the three matches left on the court with a chance to add points on the board.
