Trio of Alabama Women’s Golfers Set to Compete at Augusta National Women’s Amateur

Benedetta Moresco, Kenzie Wright and Michaela Morard will compete at the Champions Retreat.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. –Three members of the Alabama women's golf team received invitations to play in the Augusta National Women’s Amateur. Benedetta Moresco, Kenzie Wright and Michaela Morard will chase the tournament crown March 31-April 1 at Champions Golf Retreat Club in Augusta, Ga. The top 30 competitors will compete in the final round on April 3rd at Augusta National.
The schedule features 18 holes Wednesday and Thursday. The first round will be on Wednesday, followed by the second round on Thursday. The entire field will then play a practice round at Augusta National on April 2. The top 30 competitors will play in the final round at Augusta National on Sunday, April 3rd.
The winner will be competing for an invitation to the next five Augusta National Women’s Amateurs, along with invitations to the 2021 U.S. Women’s Open, the 2021 Women’s British Open as well as other USGA, R&A and PGA of American amateur events.
Fans will be able to follow on the Golf Channel for highlights on the first two rounds. The final round will be broadcast on NBC Sports from noon – 3 p.m. ET on April 3rd.
