Alabama Finishes Ninth, Polly Mack Claims Third at Moon Golf Invitational

Mack records her lowest Crimson Tide round and 54 tournament total on Tuesday

MELBOURNE, Fla. – Alabama women's golfer Polly Mack carded a 6-under par 66 Tuesday, her third-straight round of par or better, to finish third overall against a stacked field at the Moon Golf Invitational. The Crimson Tide finished in ninth place as a team and fifth among Southeastern Conference foes with a score of 2-over par 866 (292-288-286) at the Duran Golf Club.

Mack was 8-under par 208 in 54 holes to tally the best tournament score of her career at the Capstone. She used scores of 72-70-66 to finish with a three-day total of 208 and Tuesday's round of 66 also marked the lowest 18 holes of her UA career.

South Carolina's Pauline Roussin-Bouchard was the individual winner at 13-under par 203 (63-67-73) and led the Gamecocks to a team tournament title at 24-under par 840 (280-275-285).

In her opening nine holes, Mack carded seven birdies and the only setback of the day came on hole No. 13 with a bogey
Bendetta Moresco's Crimson Tide debut saw her finish tied for 37^th at 3-over par 219 (70-73-76)
Caroline Curtis went 2-over par 74 during the third round to tie for 45^th overall at 4-over par 220 (76-70-74)
Kenzie Wright (74-77-71/222) finished tied for 55^th and Emilie Øverås (76-75-75/226) rounded out the group in a tie for 71^st
