Alabama Volleyball Takes 3-1 Loss in Weekend Finale at Arkansas

The Crimson Tide resumes play in two weeks, hosting Mississippi State in Tuscaloosa
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – After dropping the first two sets, Alabama volleyball rallied back to win the third over Arkansas but ultimately fell in a close fourth set to take the 3-1 loss Saturday night.
Alabama (4-10) lost the first two frames to Arkansas (10-4) by scores of 25-19 and 25-17 before storming back with a 25-18 win in the third to avoid the sweep and send the match to a fourth set. The Crimson Tide held an early 4-3 lead in the fourth but the Razorbacks answered back with five unanswered points and would not give up the lead for the remainder of the match, winning the set 25-21.
Abby Marjama led Alabama's offense with 17 kills. Riley Fisbeck split setting duties with Emily Janek, with Fisbeck pacing the team with 20 assists along with 15 digs for her third double-double. Kendyl Reaugh was one kill shy of her own double-double, finishing with nine kills and a season-best 19 digs. Alyiah Wells stuffed a season-high eight blocks, one solo and seven assists.
