
Alabama Women’s Tennis Tops Tulane Friday Afternoon, 6-1

With the win, the Crimson Tide moves to 8-1 on the season
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama women's tennis team took down Tulane by a score of 6-1 Friday afternoon at the Robert Alison Baumgardner Tennis Facility in Tuscaloosa, Ala. With the win, the Crimson Tide moves to 8-1, while Tulane falls to 5-2.
After winning the doubles point, Alabama dominated singles play to close out the win. Moka Ito grabbed the first singles point with a win at No. 1, while Anna Parkhomenko clinched the match for the Tide with a win at No. 4.
Alabama Head Coach Jenny Mainz said:
"We played a solid match today from start to finish. We got a great start in the doubles and took that momentum into singles grabbing six first sets. We had great energy today and played together. We're getting better."
