Head Coach Jay Seawell Comments
"What an incredible event the Jackson T. Stephens Cup was for our entire team. I am so thankful to so many people who worked so hard to put it on and especially everyone over at the Alotian Club. To give all the teams an opportunity to play at such a special place was terrific. We certainly feel fortunate to have participated in such a wonderful event.
"As for our team this fall, I've been proud of the strides we made. I think we did a lot of good things this season and have been able to bring some of our culture back to the program. I thought that continued in our first two rounds this week, however, we took a step back the last two days, which was disappointing. I think it will teach us a lot about ourselves in the long run, but it certainly doesn't feel very good to end the fall season that way. It's going to fuel us this offseason. We know that we just have to work that much harder to accomplish our goals. It's going to take a lot of work, but we have the right attitude and leadership to make it happen."
