
Alabama Soccer Hosts Kentucky For Senior Night

The Crimson Tide will recognize McKinley Crone, Riley Mattingly and Kat Rogers prior to the game
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama soccer (8-7-1, 3-3-1 SEC) welcomes Kentucky (6-8-2, 0-7-0 SEC) to the Alabama Soccer Stadium for a 7 p.m. CT match Thursday night. Prior to the contest, the Crimson Tide will recognize three athletes as part of its Senior Day celebration.

- A leader both on and off the pitch, Rogers has scored seven goals and recorded nine assists as a midfielder over the last four seasons
- Combined, UA's three seniors have recorded 15 wins since 2020
- The Tide has advanced to the SEC Tournament two out of three seasons
THE ROLLING TIDE
- Alabama hosts Kentucky for just the 11th time since the programs first met in 1994 with the Tide holding a 4-5-1 home record against the Wildcats
- The Tide is 8-2 at home this season and is on a five-game winning streak inside the Alabama Soccer Stadium
- Ashlynn Serepca and Kate Henderson lead the team in goals with five apiece, while Serepca paces UA in points with 13 and assists with three
- Reyna Reyes and Riley Tanner have both tallied two game-winning goals to lead the program
- Crone has recorded 47 saves and posted four shutouts, as well as one combined shutout, this season
LAST TIME OUT
- Kate Henderson netted the tying goal in College Station, Texas
- Henderson dove to make contact with her head inside the six-yard box off a free kick from Felicia Knox
- The draw was the first of the season for UA as the team entered its third overtime game of the year
- Alabama also recorded its fifth overtime game against the Aggies
- Crone had four saves in the match and allowed just one goal
SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
- Kentucky is looking for its first conference win as the team enters with a 0-7-0 SEC record and a 6-8-2 overall record
- The Wildcats suffered a 1-0 loss to LSU last Thursday as the Tigers converted a late-game penalty kick for the win
- Jordyn Rhodes leads the team, scoring 10 goals this season and tallying five assists for 25 points
- Hannah Richardson ranks second in goals score with eight
- Laura Nielsen has started in net for Kentucky in 16 games
- Nielsen has made 69 saves for the and has a 1.25 goals against average
