From Head Coach Jenny Mainz
"I'm very proud of Loudmilla (Bencheikh) and Anne Marie (Hiser) on their strong finish today in the finals. They played with a lot of confidence and authority from the first point to the last point. It was encouraging to see them improve and gain momentum through the Regionals. They have great chemistry and have fun together on the court. I'm excited for them and for the opportunity they earned qualifying for the ITA Fall Nationals in San Diego.
"We saw a lot of promising things during the Regionals and competed pretty well overall. Petra (Sedlackova) had a strong showing in singles, reaching the Semifinals and taking out three seeded players, including No. 27 nationally-ranked Machalova of Ole Miss. Petra has an incredible work ethic and drive to improve. This was an excellent opportunity to evaluate where we are and get to work in areas to develop. We're moving in the right direction and need more matches."
