The Crimson Tide forward earns the first recognition of the 2020 season
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama soccer's Riley Mattingly earned a spot on TopDrawerSoccer's Team of the Week, following her performance against Tennessee.
TopDrawerSoccer's Team of the Week
- A native of Flower Mound, Texas, Mattingly, scored two goals and fired three shots with two on frame in 61 minutes of action against Tennessee last Saturday (Sept. 19).
- The junior forward led in goals scored and was an offensive force to Alabama's 3-1 victory over the Volunteers.
- Across her three seasons at the Capstone, Mattingly has tallied 21 points, with over half the points (11) coming from the 2019 season.
The Tide is back in action on Friday, Sept. 25 in Starkville, Miss. as they face Mississippi State at 6 p.m. CT in another SEC West matchup. The match will be broadcast on the SEC Network.
