Alabama continues CFP Semifinal installation during fourth postseason practice
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama football team continued postseason practice, working for two hours on Sunday inside the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility.
Sunday’s session was the fourth in Tuscaloosa before the College Football Playoff Semifinal against No. 4 Notre Dame at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Alabama and Notre Dame will meet for the eighth time in the history of the two storied programs. The Fighting Irish hold a 5-2 lead in the series, but the Crimson Tide has come out victorious in two of the last three matchups. The most recent pairing came in the 2013 BCS National Championship Game in Miami, Fla., with Alabama posting a dominant 42-14 win on the way to the program’s 15th national championship. Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban is 4-0 for his career against ND, including a 1-0 mark at Alabama. Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly is 0-1 for his career against the Crimson Tide.
