Alabama Volleyball Faces Road Contests Against Georgia Saturday and Sunday

The Crimson Tide and Bulldogs will face off at 1 p.m. CT each day, including a nationally televised matchup on Sunday

SCOUTING ALABAMA
- Alabama begins the second half of its fall season this weekend, heading to Athens, Ga., for a pair of road matches against Georgia at 1 p.m. CT on both Saturday, Nov.7 and Sunday, Nov. 8
- The Crimson Tide opened the season with four matches against No. 7 Missouri and No. 4 Florida, marking just the second time in program history that Alabama has opened the season with back-to-back ranked opponents, previously doing so in 2009 facing No. 20 Saint Louis and No. 1 Penn State
- The Tide returns seven letterwinners from last season while welcoming eight newcomers to its 2020 squad, including four freshmen and four transfers
- Alabama concludes its fall schedule against LSU (Nov. 14-15) at home and SEC volleyball teams are also set to participate in spring competition, with details of formats contingent on final decisions by the NCAA to conduct spring championships in those sports

- Riley Fisbeck recorded the team's first double-double of the season Friday, finishing with 25 assists and 11 digs and she was two digs shy of doing the same on Saturday, earning 28 assists and eight digs
- Madelyn St. Germain posted a team-leading 26 digs in the back row, including a season-best 15 on Saturday that stands as the highest total of any SEC player in a three-set match this season

- Reaugh, Muckelroy and Marjama have Alabama's top three kill totals, while Fisbeck has 120 of the team's 153 assists and St. Germain leads the team with 47 digs
KAYLEE THOMAS MOVES INTO CAREER TOP 10 AT UA
- Following the matches against Florida, Kaylee Thomas has 1,082 career digs and is ranked 10th all-time at Alabama
- She is 59 digs away from ninth-place Monica Morales (1997-00) and 63 from eighth-place Kryssi Daniels (2012-15)
- Thomas' 3.05 digs-pers-set average also ranks 10th all-time at UA
