HEAD COACH JAY SEAWELL THOUGHTS
- "First, I am thankful to Mr. (Jerry) Pate and Old Overton to give us all a chance to play golf and compete during this crazy time. We are very appreciative for all they have done to put on this terrific event. I wish we would have played better as a team. It's unfortunate when it's your home event and you don't play well. We are a little discouraged. Hopefully this result will motivate us. We need to become more consistent and I've got to do a better job of having our guys better prepared. It's the offseason now and we have a lot of things to work on. We certainly look forward to getting back after it when they get back to school."
FUN FACT
- Lipscomb played the par 5 holes with an average of 4.33 (-4) to finish second overall among all individuals in the field
NEXT EVENT
- The event was the final tournament of the fall for the Crimson Tide. Alabama will return to action next spring when it competes at the Seminole Invitational on Feb. 19-21 in Tallassee, Fla.
