
Three Alabama Softball Players Named to USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Watch List

Sophomore Montana Fouts, junior Kaylee Tow and senior Bailey Hemphill represent the Crimson Tide on the preseason watch list
OKLAHOMA CITY – Three Alabama softball players have been selected to the 2020 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year Watch List, it was announced Wednesday.
Sophomore Montana Fouts, junior Kaylee Tow and senior Bailey Hemphill represent the Crimson Tide on the list, making Alabama one of six schools with at least three athletes selected. Alabama has the most selections of any Southeastern Conference school.
Fouts and Hemphill were both finalists for the award last season, while this marks Tow's first appearance on the list. All three earned NFCA All-America accolades in 2019.
The Crimson Tide opens its 2020 season next weekend at the Joanne Graf Classic in Tallahassee, Fla., Feb. 7-8. There, Alabama will play two games each against North Carolina and host Florida State.
