
Crimson Tide Women's Golf Announces 2019-20 Tournament Schedule

This year's slate features nine regular season tournaments in seven different states
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama women's golf head coach Mic Potter announced the tournament schedule for the upcoming 2019-20 campaign on Friday.
The schedule features nine regular season tournaments before the start of postseason at the annual SEC Championships in Birmingham, Ala.
For the second consecutive season, Alabama will commence the season at the ANIKA Intercollegiate presented by 3M, Sept. 16-18, at the Royal Golf Club in Lake Elmo, Minn. The Crimson look to defend its team title after capturing the top spot in last year's event.
Alabama will then travel to Norman, Okla., Sept. 27-29, to compete in the Schooner Fall Classic at the Belmar Golf Club for the fourth consecutive season. The Crimson Tide return to the event as the two-time defending champion, after turning in a NCAA record-setting performance a year ago, carding a team total of 45-under par.
The fall schedule is also highlighted by a trip to North Carolina for the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational (Oct. 11-13) at the Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill, N.C., before closing the fall season at the Landfall Tradition (Oct. 25-27) at the Country Club of Landfall in Wilmington, N.C.
After starting the spring season at the Moon Golf Invitational (Feb. 17-18) in Viera, Fla, Alabama stays in the sunshine state for the Florida State Match Up (Feb. 29-March 1) at Bay Point Golf Club in Panama City, Fla.
The backend of the regular season slate sees the Crimson Tide travel to tournaments hosted by South Carolina (March 6-8), Georgia (March 20-22) and Ole Miss (April 7-8) before heading into postseason play.
In the postseason, Alabama makes the short trip to Birmingham, Ala. for the 2020 Southeastern Conference Championship at Greystone Golf & Country Club, April 15-19.
NCAA Regionals will take place May 11-13 in Athens, Ga., South Bend, Ind., Pullman, Wash. and Raleigh, N.C. The 2020 NCAA Championships will be hosted by Arizona State from May 22-27 at Grayhawk Country Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
