Alabama Prepares for 32nd Annual Roberta Alison Fall Classic

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama women's tennis team will wrap up its 2019 fall season by hosting the 32^nd Roberta Alison Fall Classic on Friday, Nov. 1 and Saturday, Nov. 2 at the Alabama Tennis Stadium. Seniors Ann Selim and Luca Fabian, along with freshman Isabella Harvison will represent the Crimson Tide in the annual tournament.

Tournament Info

The first round of doubles is set to start on Friday at 10 a.m., followed by the first round of singles. The second round of singles will take place after lunch.
The second round of doubles will begin on Saturday at 10 a.m., followed by the third round of doubles. After lunch, the event will conclude with the third round of singles.
If inclement weather interferes on Friday or Saturday to the point of cancellation, then the schedule will be pushed back a day and matches will be played on Sunday, Nov. 3.
Teams competing in the tournament include, Tulane, Troy, UT Martin, Clemson, UAB, South Alabama, Indiana, Ole Miss, Memphis, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Kennesaw State, Iowa State, East Tennessee State, Lewis, Mississippi State, Alabama State, and Maryland.
Harvison will take on Laura Bente of Memphis on Friday, while Selim will play Caitlin Bernard of Indiana and Fabian has a match versus Amelia Campbell of UT Martin.
In doubles, Selim/Fabian are set to play against Zordani/Stoica of Wisconsin.

Fabian and Selim have been strong as a doubles pair, compiling a 4-1 record as a duo.
