Alabama Swimming and Diving Takes on Miami and FSU on Senior Day

The Crimson Tide men and women will face the Seminoles while the women will also take on the Hurricanes with the diving portion of the meet being held on Friday, Jan. 11 at 10 a.m. and the swimming being held the next day starting at 10 a.m.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – In the midst of its second training camp following the conclusion of the fall semester, Alabama swimming and diving is also gearing up for its final dual meet of the 2019 season.
The Crimson Tide men will face Florida State while the women's team will take part in a double dual meet against FSU and Miami at the Alabama Aquatic Center. The diving portion of the meet will be held Friday, Jan. 11 at 10 a.m. while the swimming events will be held Saturday, Jan. 12 starting at 10 a.m.
In addition to being UA's final home competition of the season, it will also be the Tide's senior meet, with the celebration coming before the start of Saturday's events. On the men's side, the Tide's seniors include Christian Arseneau, Knox Auerbach, Laurent Bams, Robby Costine, Evan Heldman and Robert Howard. For the women, the seniors are Caroline Beene, Sarah Helm, Katie Kelsoe, Justine Macfarlane, Emma Murray, Nicole Raicik, Ayanna Woods and Marian Yurchishin.
Following a strong fall in the pool and the classroom, the Crimson Tide took part in a week-long training camp in Florida. Following a short break for the holidays, the Tide returned to work just before the New Year with another training camp, this one in Tuscaloosa that will conclude just before the start of the spring semester.
