Alabama Women’s Tennis Set to Host Mercer and Alabama A&M on Saturday

The Crimson Tide will host a doubleheader with matches starting at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama women's tennis team will host another doubleheader on Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Roberta Alison Baumgardner Indoor Tennis Facility. The Crimson Tide (2-0) will take on Mercer at 10 a.m. CT and will follow by playing Alabama A&M at 4 p.m. CT.
Sunday will be Kids' Day, while free food will be provided during both matches.
The Tide opened the season with a bang, sweeping both UAB and Belmont, 7-0, in a doubleheader on Jan. 20.
Saturday's encounter will mark the first-ever dual match against Mercer. The Bears enter the competition, 1-4, after falling to three top-25 opponents earlier this month.
The Tide owns a 1-0 advantage against the Alabama A&M Bulldogs, after the inaugural meeting ended in the Tide finishing 7-0, on Feb. 3, 2018, in Tuscaloosa.
