Alabama continues work for Saturday’s home opener with Arkansas State
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Heavy rain forced the Alabama football team indoors today as the Crimson Tide put in a two-hour session in full pads at the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility on Wednesday.
Wednesday's practice was the Tide's third in advance of the team's 2018 home opener, which is schedule for Saturday, Sept. 8, against Sun Belt Conference foe Arkansas State. Game time is set for 2:35 p.m. at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The matchup will air on ESPN2 with Kevin Brown and Andre Ware calling the action from the booth and Alex Corddry working the sidelines.
Nick Saban is 3-0 all-time against Arkansas State, including a 1-0 mark at Alabama. Arkansas State head coach Blake Anderson is making his first coaching appearance against the Tide this weekend.
